Can I have my order urgently?

Of course you can, we endeavour to dispatch that day any order we receive by 12:00, with orders received after that time dispatched the next working day. Of course, this is dependent on stock being available so if we are out of stock on an item we’ll email you with an estimated dispatch date. Working days don’t include Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holidays. We dispatch on a standard next day overnight basis to most postcodes, but specific timed and Saturday deliveries are available, just give us a call for details.

Can I send back unused confetti or streamers for a refund?

We have a full returns policy in our terms and conditions sections, but we don’t accept part used or opened confetti or streamers as part of our returns policy.

 

Can you ship overseas?

Yes we can, but we need some details from you before your order is placed so we can calculate an accurate shipping cost. Some items are not able to be shipped by air, so please check with us first if you plan to ship overseas. Disposable handheld cannons are not able to ship by air, but can be shipped by road or sea.

 

What if I want something that isn’t included on the website?

Part of our MTFX promise is that we will endeavour to fulfil any special effects requirements our clients may have. Custom made effects and large scale effects may be more expensive than our standard options, but you had probably guessed that anyway. Call us with your special effects requirements as we have ingenious solutions to most things.

 

Does your ex-hire equipment items come with any warranty?

The same as any pre-loved item you would find on online auction sites, MTFX will test any equipment sold to make sure it is in top notch working order before it is despatched, but we don’t supply ‘sold as seen’ items with a warranty.

 

Are handheld cannons safe for children to use?

As with any item, parental supervision is required where small children are present. The handheld cannons are straightforward to use, but do need a hard twist to operate them. More importantly they go off with a bang, so may not be suitable for very young ones.

 

Are your goods fire retardant?

Yes, confetti, streamers and artificial display snow have their fire retardancy details stated within each product description. Goods that are not fire retardant will not have a rating.

 

Are high voltage props safe?

Yes, otherwise we wouldn’t sell them. However, they are often made of glass, quite heavy, and use electrical connections, so care is needed in the set-up and use of these items.

Children should be supervised in the use of high voltage props, as they can produce a small contact sensation similar to a mild electric shock.

 

 

Do you give discounts for charity events?

MTFX supports a number of local charities. We get asked for charity discounts often, but in order for us to keep items costs as low as possible for all clients, we don’t leave any ‘wiggle room’ to give further discounts.
